Spring Puppies

Noli and Miles are having puppies! This will be Noli’s first litter. She is half sister’s with Naia and Savvy is her mom. So if you have loved puppies from our other girls, these are related and have the same genetics.

This pretty girls is sweet, attentive, loves scratches and pets and her bed. She is a good retriever and excellent walking on a leash.

Miles is his same old playful, silly self. They both loved their Easter baskets and have a newfound love for apples. They even know the word “apple” and perk up if you say it.

Both dogs are midsized, so we expect medium-build puppies.

The litter is due around April 21, which puts puppies ready to go home around the 2nd weekend of June. We are expecting a mixture of black and yellow pups. So exciting!

What’s in a Name?

Savvy’s puppies will be three weeks on Monday. Their eyes are open and beginning to focus. Soon they will actually be able to see. At this stage they are difficult to photograph because they are moving a lot more, but not quite walking.

It is also trickier to photograph black puppies well. We have a black female and two blsck males still available in Savvy’s litter. (And also some puppies in Naia’s litter.)

Each of our girls belong to one of our kids, as they get old enough to care for the dog and learn to train her. Savvy belongs to Ben, and because of that, Ben got to pick the theme of the names of the litter.

He chose his favorite folk band, Arcadian Wild, as the theme, and we picked names from titles of songs and song lyrics.

In honor of some great music, we would like to introduce to you our puppies:

Three black males: Wilder, River, & Storm

Three black females: Finch, Willow, & Blossom

And the yellow male is Stan.
